Link-Belt Log Loaders are available with similar configurations as the delimbers, with carriers up to 35 tonne. Forestry options include purpose-built booms, heel boom, hydraulic high riser cabs (side or rear entry) and cylinder guards.

FT 133 Tracked Boom Harvester

Fabtek has been the North American leader in excavator conversions for forestry applications.  Our years of experience is now put into the ground up design of this new purpose built machine.  The FT 133 combines new features most asked for by Harvester/Processor Operators, combined with technological advances in power and control precision.

The FT 133 is a true counterweighted boomed machine that positions components and counterweight for maximum effect.  The large capacity fuel and hydraulic oil tank are incorporated in the massive counterweight structure.  The engine mounts behind the main boom pivot for additional counterweight movement.  The oversized swing bearing and high swing torque give exceptional stability and durability to this unit.

Fabtek also have the 153-size carrier, with B-5 size HD tracks and 26 inches of ground clearance. Either of these carriers are equipped to handle the 4-roll fixed head (shown above) or the dangle head.

FT 240 24" PROCESSOR HEAD

 Fabtek's dangle style 24" is the newest addition to our family of processing heads.  This advanced design unit comes to the market with extensive field testing behind it.

• Delimb arms are high tensile steel with 200 brinell hardness.
• 21" Steel spike rolls are standard.  Rubber rolls with chains optional.  18" rolls available in both steel and rubber.    Drive motors can be custom tailored to match your carrier hydraulic supply.
• Advanced technology hydraulics can interface with open or closed center systems.  A computer controlled variable flow pump divert is used for open center systems.
• Advanced digital ramped roller speed control gives smoother more accurate measurement operation, reduced system stress and longer hose life.
• Independent measurement encoder sensor gives highly accurate measurement capability and high reliability.
• Fabtek's new advanced computer measurement system offers more features and greater accuracy.  Inputs are digitally processed from electronic encoders.
• 7 presets are easily set or changed as desired.
• Diameter measurement available as an option.
• Printer data port available for recording production data.

Fabtek's new 4 Roll 18" answers the needs of the logger wanting Fabtek reliability in a larger capacity processor. Based on the solid success of our smaller units, this design uses proven components and a proven controlled fell processing system. This processor is built to work in the toughest north american conditions. It has a compact design to keep this larger head in a smaller overall package. This keeps the weight down too. The 18" weighs in at 4100 lbs. Fabtek's new Skip Tooth roller has proven production increases of over 15% and more accurate measurement as an added bonus. This tooth is standard on the 18" along with the new Hardox 400 upper knife arms for superior long life delimbing.
